We did it! Senate Bill 209 has officially passed the Indiana House! This is a monumental step forward in modernizing charitable gaming and ensuring that veterans service organizations, fraternal clubs and nonprofits have the resources they need to continue their vital community missions.

This victory wouldn’t have been possible without YOU. Everyone who signed the petition, spread the word, attended hearings and stood with us throughout this journey. Your voices made a difference and lawmakers listened!
We are especially grateful to sponsors Representatives Ethan Manning, Justin Moed and Chris Judy for their leadership in championing this bill as it moved through the House. Along with the work of Senators Kyle Walker, Ron Alting and Justin Busch, their dedication to supporting charitable organizations and veterans service groups has been instrumental in getting Senate Bill 209 to this point.

What’s Next? Due to some language updates in the House, the bill must return to the Indiana Senate for lawmakers to concur. After that, the bill will head to Governor Mike Braun for final approval. Once the proposal reaches his desk, he’ll have seven days to sign the bill into law. PlayIN for Charity leaders stand ready to work with the Governor to make sure it gets across the finish line.
Help us show how much support there is for Senate Bill 209 and encourage Governor Braun to approve it by continuing to share and sign our petition. Every voice is needed until this legislation is officially law.
For now, let’s celebrate this incredible progress! Thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we are making a lasting impact for Hoosier charities and veterans organizations.
